Yesterday i was picking up my friend and right before he gets into my car he tells me he is smelling some coolant, we opened up the hood, and yes, he smelled that again... I didnt smell anything though...
Then we go to some place and there happened to be some kind of a mechanics. They also smelled some coolant. So i started the car, they checked that hose where coolant suppose to go thru, and said the coolant is not going thru and the problem is prolly my thermostat.
Ok, before i leave there, i check the ground and see some wet spots. It was coolant, and also some kind of oil (dont know if that was mine though).
So today i go to my audi/vw mechanic... He looks under my car and sees nothing, then they did a pressure test and found nothing, they also left my car running for 1hr and didnt find any leaks or wet spots.
So he told me it happens sometimes, and he dosnt see any problems, just be carefull and look at temp gauge.
P.S. it happened 2 days after i lowered my car, i dont think if that could cause the problem, i dont think i went over any huse potholes yet :)))
Any thoughts plz???
