    alright trying to get some new wheels and am trying to figure out a total weight for both rims and tires. Just curious what tires weight (roughly) for 18"

    Are you worried about gas mileage savings? Or are you actually road racing and doing time trials? Because i would focus more on wheel weight rather then tire weight.

    I'd be concerned with both even though I don't track my car. Tire weights vary as much as 5lbs from brand to brand. Compare any tire to Michelin PS2's for a reference at Tirerack.

    We weigh an example of each wheel and tire ourselves to get a better ideal of actual weights vs. manufactureres "published" figures.
