I just got new rims for my car (pics will come) there 18x8.5 ....I'm either gonna go with ns-2 or nitto... But I wanna get the best size for them.... Should I go with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18. the offset is +35 what does that mean?

    Re: new rims

The 235/40 is closer to stock rolling diamater of the 18s, but if you are slamming it real low you might like 225, so you don't rub.
+35 is good, they should be pretty close to flush with your fenders you may not even need spacers.

I have 225/40-18 on the same size wheel you do. I like it a lot.

225 will have a bit of stretch, 235 will look more OEM

225 if you want stretch. I regret getting 235's they don't stretch enough... Oh well, next set will be stretched.

In my world, stretch = no traction!
