SO was raining to, was driving onto the parkway and my driver's side windshield wiper goes completely off my windshield and is dangling on the side by my mirror haha. Pulled over, find out that the windshield wiper just moves whenever you push it, where as the pass side is stuck in place unless turned on.., like something stripped? any ideas?

Check the arm to the spline may be the bolt came loose best thing pop the hood and have a look at the rods coming off the motor and see what’s that’s doing.

When that happened to me, it was the wiper linkage that popped loose. There's a bar that connects the two arms that is likely what came off. There's a socket/hole on the bar that pops onto a ball on the end of the wiper arm. Put a little grease on it before attaching it and be ready to replace the bar. I believe the part only costs around $10-15.
