    Re: Wich brakes ...?

I would just go with upgrading rotors from Supreme Power Parts... That'll be 350... Then you can get upgraded pads like I did as well (EBC Red Stuff Ceramic front and rear) and also Stoptech SS Brake Lines.... Doing that tightened up the pedal, made the brakes much stronger and is suitable for the purposes you mentioned. No reason to spend shitloads on brakes unless you're going to be doing tracking. Even street pulls these breaks do more than the job. Here's how they look on my car...

then I just painted the calipers yellow to make believe that I have a BBK LOL

    Re: Wich brakes ...?

Yours are slotted/dimpled not slotted/drilled, right?

Our OEM calipers are already 4-pot (good), so unless you are tracking all you really need is good pads and rotors.

Stock S4 calipers are only 2 piston...

Agreed though, if you don't push your car that hard, just get some good pads.

If you're looking for some real bang for the buck BBK's, check out www.Rotora.com They're pretty popular with E46 M3's and are really affordable. I'm setting up a after market parts distribution company soon and Rotora is one of the brands I'm really interested in carrying. About $2k for a 4 piston setup, and $2700 for a 6 piston setup! 6 freakin pistons! Check out these e46 threads which post some Rotora track test notes.

    Re: Wich brakes ...?

Stainless Steel lines + pbr metal masters + drilled rotors + ate super blue = a huge difference for me. they may not be 4 piston calipers but, i daily drive a jetta with 4 piston porsche calipers and oversized rotors, so i know what a real BB kit feels like but im happy with the oem+ s4 setup

Really, could have sworn they were 4. Oh well. They are good enough for most applications.

    Re: Wich brakes ...?

Unless it's a serious track car, just upgrade your rotors, pads, brake lines, and fluid. There's no sense in adding unsprung weight (*Yes, i know BBKs are lighter than stock, but they move that weight outward creating more resistance, thus hindering performance)

    -Grooved Stoptech discs
-slotted zimmermann and some other not so well known brands

    pads:
