    school me on widebands

Alright, so I want to pick up a wideband. Is there any way to run a narrow band gauge with the wideband sensors? If it's a noob question sorry. For instance, could I buy this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Innov...spagenameZWDVW and use a narrow band gauge?

I was looking into Widebands as I will be purchasing fueling real soon.... I was going to go with the VAST kit which is the Innovative... To be honest, thats the gauge and nothing else, I'm going to spend only 200 and go for the one that winston@podi has going on. Its the same wideband mixed with another gauge of your choice. I'm going to do oil pressure and wideband A/F... It also comes with the pod for it to go on the steering wheel.

    Re: school me on widebands

Are there any wideband gauges that look a little more like our stock gauges? I keep going to the AEM one but am turned off by its gauge. I'm a whore, I know, but I like the stock-ish look.

The Innovate LC-1 has a narrow band and wideband output so you can use a narrow band gauge with that controller.

So if I used a narrow band gauge the feed would still be wideband? Sorry, I am an idiot.

The LC-1 controller has two outputs: narrow band and a separate wideband

You would use the narrowband output with a narrowband gauge.

You would use the wideband output with a wideband gauge.

hey just wondering why you even want to get a wideband? if you dont know the difference between narrow/wide? i just want to make sure you know what its purpose/application is.

I know the difference. This thread wasn't about what is a narrow band and what is a wideband, it was based on whether the actual gauges are interchangeable. I did not know whether the actual gauge required was special or just the hardware.
