    Almost positive it is the same. The differences on the outside of the 2 models changes behind the wheel well.

    Springs aren't different, just sprung different if you know what I mean.

    I thought the rear springs were different then the sedan. I know the fronts are the same.

    I swapped my coilovers from my sedan to my avant with no problems. The rear is a hair lower since its heavier, but thats about it.

    I know there was a difference in bearing sizes. I'm not positive on when the split occured.

    i just checked, the fronts are different but the rears are the same in the b5 a4 quattros. The front of a 2001 is different from previous years.

    Ah that's what it was bc I sold a set of stock springs to a b5 avant from my 01 sedan and he said one side didn't fit.
