So boys & girls, here is the deal. Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated. I have never bought out a lease before & I'm a bit confused on what I should do. Any light on the matter would be most certainly appreciated.

    This is for my wife's 05 A4 1.8T Q with 53K on it.

I call Audi Financial, in short.

    60 months $331.83/month 4.9% 36K warranty with $100.00 deductable

    Dealer, in short.

    60 months $317.00/month 2.9% Certified preowned up to 100K

Now I know that the 317 is cheaper, but what is the difference between Certified preowned & having the warranty? At first glance the dealer seems like the better deal, Right???

    Any insight would be great.

Can you trade it in for an '06/'07 with a 2.0T?

    This being my reasons..

#1) Audi certified is 2yrs/100,000mi correct? The next two years you will have very few issues with the car. Right around 80-90K, expect to start replacing mechanical parts at a premium.

    and

#2)As soon as the next generation A4 comes out, your B6's value will TANK and you will be completely upside down on the car.

... If you have no other choice, go with the lowest financing regardles of either warrenty, and pay extra every month.

Thanks for the reply, I hear what you are saying. I thought about upgrading; however, the plan is to get my wife the new B8 & I'll keep the B6 for a couple of years,

You did mention a very good point about the value.

In short you did help me. Thank you.
