Well flew up yesterday to Denver to pick up my new Avant! Its my first Audi, came from 4 Volkswagens and it was a great transition, just seems totally different than the Vdubs. Anyways car came with the Oem Nav, Stasis coils, Forge DV and thats about it. Planning on slamming the coils down soonish and then saving for bags. Trying to decide if I want to do a boser or not but we'll see. But now on with the pics.









Couple questions though......the previous owner said that there are only 2 White USP avants in the US? That true?

And can I do just a regular drop in HID kit? Is that what most of you guys do that dont have HIDS? I would think since it is a USP it would had come with HIDS but I found out that it was actually an option, not standard......so yeah TIA

Congrats on the new Audi and yeah USP avants are rare but not that rare in any color. Seems like you got a good head start with the options someone installed before you. I wish I had that when I bought mine. Welcome to the boards and holla if you have any questions......oh and read the stickies, they help

If you really wanna do HID's you can just by the kit and install on the halogen projectors but the best option is to get Ecode projectors or S4 xenon projectors. They put out a much better light pattern with hid's.

VVME makes great Fog HID kits. And yes you can buy HID bulbs to give that "brighter bulb" look.

That white USP avant is definately a great and amazingly clean start to the money begging life of audizine, *cough* I mean modding.

Yeah I thought that a boser might be too aggressive of a look for a cruiser car such as it is. So yeah probably wont get the boser/have one made.....

IF i did the boser I would just either paint the whole carbon fiber good, or just have one made out of the stock hood, but I prolly wont do either....

It's a projector lens designed for a halogen bulb with a filament that glows and throws light in a fundamentally different way compared to a HID arc, therefore the geometry of the optics and cutoff shield is different. You'd be throwing a wrong beam pattern, subject to extra glare and light bleeding outside the pattern.

Dropping it a little is a great idea, but I'd suggest waiting a little bit before doing any major exterior mods. There is a reason most of us wish we had a USP in the first place, and you already way ahead with coilovers.

Welcome!white FTW!!!! now an HID kit is fine beam pattern isn't bad at all just not like 100% perfect and just lower it and big turbo it and ur done!

yeah, i heard through the Audi dealership computer that there were 2 White USP Avants sent stateside in 2005 - if they lied, i'm a fool... but, that's what i heard...

miss it already :-(
