I ran my second AutoX this Saturday, this time with the Porsche Club and once again I was very satisfied with the A4. I actually beat a friend who is at par with my skill level in his 993, which is the car I've been driving for the past three years prior to buying the A4. Most Porsches run on extreme summer tires of course and some were running r-comps while I ran my A4 on the shitty M+S tires the car came with. Once I put on some 615s and RS4 sways, I'm convinced my times will drop a good 2 seconds, which in this AutoX would've placed me between 6th and 10th place...not bad.
No weather advantage...though I was praying for rain, it was bone dry and high 60s. Some cars are highly modified (all of the 951s are) and to be fair, there were some noobs out that day driving cars that would've beat me in more capable hands. All in all, pretty good for a little (big and heavy actually) four cylinder running shitty tires I think.
