B5 A4 Fiber Images CF hood

Well as most of you know I was in accident in January that I am still trying to recover from fully. One of the things that I replaced was my Fiber Images CF hood and the only reason I am listing it here is because of A4Rob's widebody thread and how easily things can be repaired.

My CF hood has sustained some damage but after looking at it closer it can be repaired to almost new. The side that has the piece missing can be repaired with fiberglass and then both sides can be painted body color as is common with CF hoods, leaving the entire center of the hood CF. I am willing to take offers and even have the repairs done before I ship the hood. Obviously I am trying to save someone the full cost of a CF hood which is around $550 plus shipping.

If you want it repaired before, I am thinking about $450 shipped, but you will have to pay to have it painted your body color. $350 shipped if you want to fix it or have it repaired your self.

Other than this damage the hood is fully repairable and is not that bad, but I just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone would be interested especially if it can be done cheaper than buying a new one by a few hundred dollars.

$350 WHAT!!!! If your ins. is giving you a new one hook us up. that thing should be $50-100 come pick it up!

I will even sell it for $100, but it is going to cost $150 to ship it, so that brings up the price to $250. If someone wants to come to my house, in Las Cruces NM and pick this up for $100, you are more than welcome .............
