New turbo install... Coolant question

I installed my new k03s in my 99.5 1.8t. i just got back from college and still everytime i start the car it beeps and flashes the coolant light. the tank is right at MAX and is not low at all. Where exactly is the sensor located that it is reading a coolant problem... could it be that the coolant isnt flowing thru the turbo correctly? any ideas?

The sensor is on the back of the Cylinder head right next to the firewall. It should either be blue or green in color.

i figured it was that sensor. i replaced it when the flange was leaking so i no it is still good. now my question is tho. if that is reading low coolant or coolant problem (watever the light means) where is the potential collant issue... the turbo or somewhere in the block. basically i just wanna make sure that my new turbo is getting the correct amount of coolant

make sure the coolant plug underneath the coolant reservoir is connected correctly.. unplug it and plug it back in..

^^^^^X2, it happened to me as well, when i checked it was unpluged.

still seems to come up flashing. should i unplug it and reset the batt or something? ps whats the diff btwn flashing and solid coolant light

it flashes i believe if its unplugged.. so you made sure it's plugged in correctly underneath the reservoir. Trace that wire back and look for cuts... check the plug on the "green coolant sensor" close to the firewall (could also be black if never upgraded)
might also be time to get the green sensor if you never upgraded.. shouldn't be expensive
