    recommended tire size for 19x8.5 HRE comps

    As the title says am i better off with a 235/35/19 or 245/35/19. Application is a b6 S4 which is currently on stock suspension. Future modifications may include coilovers, but wont be slammed. Am i better of with a beefier tire to protect my lips and avoid stretching the tire, or should i go for the cheaper/lighter 235?

    i went 235, just because with 245 it would rub on my B7

    I am running 245/35/19. I have had 235/35/19 is the past. The 245 are very nice they fit just fine and you get more meat and shoulder room on the wheels. Go for the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Pole Position 245/35/19. I am running a 19X8.5 wheel with 245/35/19.

    Same size we recommend here, but 245's could probably fit in there with some fender rolling and slight adjustments.
