anyone know the VAG part number for the metallic part of the power steering line that runs under the radiator right behind the front bumper? mine broke and I need to replace it and was hoping someone knew where to get the part number so I can find a replacement.

    thanks!

you can also buy a larger external fluid cooler from a place like summit or maybe a local parts store like napa. they can be had for <$40

    lots of ppl upgrade them.

my cooler developed a leak one day. so i just looped the hoses and went on about my business.
    contact via email please.

i upgraded mine to the small power steering cooler that napa sells. the part number is ATP14866 if you're interested. I cut the old lines near where my leak was and just hooked it up to the hoses.

The summit racing external power steering cooler is pretty sick, it's about 43 bucks or so

    good luckk with the repairs

Interesting about the Summit racing one, do you know which part it is cause I can't seem to find it?

I bought a used replacement off someone parting their A4. I haven't bothered installing it cause I used the rubber hose fix and it's been working perfectly and doesn't stick down as far.
    thanks!
