Debadged/replaced with black rings. Quick pics.

I didn't get good pics yesterday, it was very windy and I just wanted to get back in the garage. I used 3M adhesive remover which worked quite well but you can get a buzz if your not careful. I had the garage doors opened and it was still pretty stinky. I'll get better pics in the near future. 12mm/15mm spacers are ordered and tint/clear bra are getting done Tuesday.

i have the same exact car...i'm about to do debadge next weekend. that black audi emblem really does look good. i may just end up doing that too. nice job

AvantNoir on the board was doing them. He may still be doing them, but was contemplating no more. They are flawless. You could just paint them yourself, but the prep and materials made it just worth having him do them.

Can you show me the 3M stuff you removed the adhesive with? I took off my "A4" today and my fingers hurt from rubbing it all off and I chose to stop for the day. I decided to use something better to remove the 2.0T/Quattro. (I used a blow dryer obviously) The remaining glue was a pain in the ass.

I don't have a pic right now but it was 3M Adhesive remover in a spray can. I picked it up at Checker Auto. I didn't spray directly on the paint. Just saturated a rag. Once the thick stuff softened up I used my fingernail to get the bulk off. After that it removed the thin film easily. I bet it took me an hour from start to finish. Maybe a little longer to have a beer or two along the way.
