B5 S4 Auto/Tip---What are these connectors???

these are from a 2000 auto/tip B5 S4 engine wiring harness. need to kno where they go

2 blk plugs
1 blue plug---location is at the back of engine

the first black wire looks like it goes to the coolant tank (underneath), if not then maybe the coolant temp sender behind the block. The other two wires look familiar but i cant tell you where they go. I'll think about it for a while.

I can't tell you right now sisce i still don't have my engine yet and so the harness. Maybe in a week. But take your time to look how the harness is bent and goes around the engine. The harness route is from engine to passenger fire wall to driver fire wall and then goes to your ecm. Again take your time to look how it is bent and route-it this way. You will find the places where connectors go usually near 6'' of connector.

the coolant tank has a connector already. ill try to look for the coolant temp sender.

cool, its the black pipes that are coming out the back of the motor. behind and in between all the wastegate lines, egt sensors, oil line to turbo, and coolant lines to tubo.

hey i was just told that
1 blk connector goes to the Air pump Solenoid Valve bottom of EGT Sensors

2 blk connector goes to the SAI Pump, big round thing on rear right as you look at it.

Blue connector is for Aux coolant pump under manifold


is this true? and can u take pics and send to [email protected]

2nd blck and blue connector are correct

1rst blk connecter i think goes to one of the connector on either side of the intake manifold, not surec ant see it well on my phone

the sai controll valve is in the back of the engine by the aux water pump, so i dont think the 1st blk connector goes there, if thats what you were thinking

If it does go back there whats it doing over by the front, look at the prongs. I took a couple pics for you. the first one is the conector under and to the left of EGT sensors. The other is for the SAI pump. Now Question. Are you using a TIP wiring harness on a 6MT motor?

yes using a tip wiring harness on a 6spd motor. however im going to have the sai system deleted off the ecu software. this engine didnt have that system, but my ecu will be looking for it.

yeah the 1st blk plug doesnt go there... however the other two are spoken for thx for the big help!!!

ok 1st blk connector was plug in where the blue connector goes. 2nd blk connector is coming off the wiring harness near ecu. where do they go? these are the last two pieces to the puzzle
