Believe me, I've thought about it... However, the new owner has already paid for them and the new wheels are somewhere in shipping limbo.

Oh well... If I really want another set I'll just have to wait. Unfortunately with how weak the dollar is right now, a new set will run you almost $5000

Yeah. but I got an email from ASP today saying my 2871R is on its way. I should have it next week. Bob@QED emailed me to. He's working on the cylinder head now. Its looking more promising that I'll have the new motor installed and breaking-in sometime late June.


Good to hear about the PT. It works! We need to chat about logistics for SSWC. I didn't realize how far south you and Colin live.

The unpainted door blades are cool IMHO, it's an S6 sort of thing right? And...I cannot believe you are getting rid of your Sportec Monos 10's!!! I looked around for some a while ago and could not even find them. Eventually I found some (too late) and they were expensive as hell $$$$

Car looks insane....

I just sold my Sportecs too...we test fitted them on a white B7 S-Line A4 and they looked sick. Made me regret selling them. Right now i'm thinking white Avant with custom finished Sportecs is the way to go.

retro-fitted return fuel line with 580cc injectors
custom mandrel bent-equal length exhaust manifold
proprietary gmg intake
Evolution Raceworks Competition FMIC
Custom GMG downpipe, HFC and exhaust.
Software is a GIAC custom tune

Last we checked, its running a little over 400 hp on 91oct.

It will go back to GIAC for some more tweaking and a race gas file this week or next. wheeee!

I'm just curious to know exactly what was modified. What OE parts were retrofitted, etc.. A written description is sufficient.

I'll get you a photo tonight. I have a few on my computer at home. There is one rubber piece ontop of the tail lights. Mine always fall off since they are glued onto the tail lights and the way the lights sit relative to the body the rubber piece is stressed. Aside from that, I'm not aware of any other pieces except the weatherstripping around the hatch opening.
