    Re: Check Engine Light

Coil packs aren't that expensive. ECS has the Audi OEM and the Bremi part for $29.95 each. Now the trick is to find which one is bad. The car needs to be VAG'd.

    Re: Check Engine Light

Don't keep driving it. A coil pack is one of those red things on the top of the engine.

    Part should be $30.
1/2 hour plus for labor depending on which one it is.
    Very simple to DIY.

    Re: Check Engine Light

You need a flat head screw driver, if any tools at all.

My advice, make sure the engine is cool so you don't burn the crap out of your hands like I did (those suckers stay hot for a long time!).

Disconnect the harness from your coil pack, pull it out of the engine, insert new one, done.
