Got a new toy yesterday

DHL delivered my new turbo and wastegate yesterday. The turbo is a twin scroll 3076r and the wastegate is a 44mm Tial. My car should be up and running in about two weeks.

We are in development of a pretty badass catch can, basically it mounts where the battery is, and also doubles as a tie down for a lightweight battery as well.

Manifold and downpipe are done. The engine is going in today. All I'm waiting on now are the parts for my exhaust. Here's a few pics of the work.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to finally get my car back. The setup is really turning out well. Just found out that my mufflers were drop shipped from California instead of shipping from the seller in Michigan. Everything should be done by the middle of next week. I'll post some more pics and a few videos once everything is done.

When do you think you'll have your setup done?

Turn key so the car runs and I can break in the engine on low boost? Depends on when my intercooler comes back and when I'll have my exhaust components back from ceramic coating. I have some dates in my head but won't say anything until I'm 99% sure it'll happen on a given day. I am fairly sure it'll be next month. When? Not sure right now.

Once the car is running I can get the EBC working correctly, install my catch cans and simplify that stuff up. Then just put miles on it so I can get it nice and broken in and get the car back to ASP for final tuning.

Looks good john. Might want to place the filter in a different spot, unless you plan on making a shield around it because your going to be sucking in nothing but hot air coming from the radiator.

You dont see it often because the welds tend to end up cracking over time and dumping back into the down pipe just adds back pressure which is something you dont want. This is why most people run the wg dump on its own. My wg dump used to go into my down pipe, it was welded up by Full-race and it still ended up cracking/breaking away from the dp. This is why Full-race will no longer build the WG dump back into any of their dp's.

They spool faster and hold boost better, but you have to have a custom manifold and tune for them. At least that's what people say. I was told the same thing about tunes when I put a 3071r on Revo BT.

Thats just rediculous, i really want to feel a car pull like that, its beena while since ive been in a car that can do 400hp. Last was my buddies MKIII made 613whp nuts, then he blew the HG sold it for a Z06 sold it for his Full caged MKIV.

He built the manifold and downpipe on the old engine. They installed everything with the new engine last night.
