    Re: Purchasing A4

umm, this issue has been discussed more than enough times.... Its going to cost more than a honda and toyota, youre going to have to pay for timing belt and water pump in 20k so it depends on how much you drive. that usually isnt cheap - other than that, just search and youll find that the coilpacks will probably go bad and youll probably start modding it, which will take away from your maintenance fund.

    Re: Purchasing A4

I've had my A4 since last August and put 13k on it since then.

Drive about 100 miles a day for work.

All I've done is regular oil changes and I changed my fuel filter 2 weeks ago.

Car has 63k on it now.

One advice from my side. If you are a "sporty driver" make sure you get the quattro and a sport package.

word of advice: keep the car as primary no longer than your warranty (hopefully to 100k).

i would not consider this car used with 100 miles a day; get a mazdaspeed3 or some beater like that to rag it.
