Hey guys,
I read through a few posts but really didn't get anywhere and I don't think that I will until I get someone to VAG my car but I just want to get some ideas.
So a month ago I performed light maintenance on my car.
04 b6 1.8t Q
73k
Oil Change m1 0-w40
Air Filter
Cabin Filter
Spark Plugs NGK PFR6Q
So the car has run perfectly for the past few weeks until this morning.
I get into the car and it starts up rough like it's not getting enough fuel. It barely starts and then the Service! icon pops up. I drive for a while and it's fine. Then I go to start it again and the same thing happens.
I'm trying to decide what it could be. For one I didn't gap the plugs anymore than there were out of the box but I don't think that would be an issue. Two, it's was a little chilly here in MD last night so I am not sure if that would make a difference. I have the "R" CP's in my car and they have not given me any problems.
I am thinking that it's the Fuel Pump but I am not sure. I need to VAG the car but I have no access to a VAG right now so I'm SOL for the time being.
Anyone have any ideas?
