    Need help testing coilpack wiring

Any good writeups? I'm getting this code constantly....

17769 - Cylinder 3 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
    P1361 - 35-00 - -

I've got new coils, new plugs, new MAF, new O2. I've swapped the coils around and plugs... it stays at cylinder 3. I peeled back the wiring on the coilpack harness and it wasn't cracked and crumbled like I was expecting. How do I test back to the ecu? Should I light the car on fire now?

    Edit... its an 01 AWM

Bad injector? If it is a bad injector, I will sell you my old set from my AWM... Any other codes?

No other codes at the moment..... but had TONS of other codes until recently... thus I've replaced the maf, coils, plugs, and 02. Put a used cat on it a couple days ago as well. I just bought this car 3 weeks ago for pennies. Brought it home, did the timing belt, and started trying to solve all the code issues. After replacing the coils it started missing badly and this code appeared.

    ...and the scirocco. :-)

Nevermind guys.... got it. I didn't think it was the connector, but it apparently is. I bent that sucker around backwards and it started running right immediately. Thanks again!

Oh... and my local guys (ncdubs.org) determined mine was chipped before I was ever able to experience the turbo actually working just by checking out one of my previous logs I made via the specified boost readings. I just got to take it for a run and WOW. Me likey!

that rocc is badass, very clean! are you running the 50mm manifold on that beast?

Re: Need help testing coilpack wiring

Its a 2.0L with 83mm pistons and motronic, tt big cat, stainless catback. I've also got a set of schrick 268's on my workbench ready to go in but probably won't until I can replace lifters/etc and do the head right. I've only put about 2k miles on it since the rebuild bottom end but Kpmpresd can verify that I only drive it for about a month a year and then take it apart and don't put it back together thanks to projects like this audi. (and I'm old.) hehe.
