best way to store snow tires ??

sorry if this has been asked / answered before ...

wondering the best way to store the snow tires (on rims) until I need them again in November

Standing up in a row |||| or lying down in a stack (like pancakes) ?

I usually store mine flat (wheel facing up/down).
Also you should keep them in plastic bags. It helps the rubber from drying out.

I keep em in trashbags or bare in my basement - damp enough

+1 for those mentioned above.....i was told bags are only needed if you are storing them on a concrete surface? not sure if there is truth to that or not....

mine are put flat on wood one foot above floor. Each wheel in bag and tire tote. Set pressure to 15-17 psi.

Cheap easy way to store them, what I like most about them is they have handles and make the wheels a little easier to carry around. As for the storage area, I stack them like pancakes on the wooden floor of my shed.
