Like it says, will 32ET offsets work on my 04 A6, with it being lowered on Koni FSD+Eibachs, and if they do, will they rub???

Re: 32ET offsets , will they work???

I think it will depend on the tire size more than anything. I have 19x8.5 with a 35 offset, and a 245/35 tire and I only rub on big dips, or bumps. If if were a 235/35 then I don't think that it would even rub. Not too sure what tire size would be good for an 18", but I'm thinking a 235/40/18.

Get with GIGI, as he just went to an 18" wheel set up. Good luck.....your ride looks great!

Re: 32ET offsets , will they work???

It also depends on how wide the wheel is 8", 8.5", 9"...? what kind of tires? not all tires are created equal within the same size, soe are wider, some have squarer corners, taller less flexible walls,... all these factors will affect the rub potential :)

32 et is more ggressive than anything I have had
    I had
BBS Ck 19 X 8.5 Et35 with 235/35/19 Khumos SPT (seems pretty narrow, round so helps)
BBS RS GT 19 X 8.5 Et 38 with 245/35/19 Khummos SPT rare run under very hevy loads.
Hartmann DTM 18 X 8 ET35 with 245/40/18 Goodyear F1 AS UHP a squarer bigger tire with tall no flex walls(RUBBED BIG TIME, had to get them exchanged), then 235/40/18, only rub a little under heavy load (Rare) and rubs the liner only so no biggy.
BBS RC 17 7.5 ET 43? with 8mm and 15mm spacers, 235/45/17 michelin tires, no rub at all

I would say that 32 ET will work on a 8" wide rim, and maybe 8.5 even I would definitely stay with 235 tires, 18 diameter if possible and get a rounder, narrower tire... the problem if it is a 8.5 rim is that the wider the more chnace you have to rub against the actual fender edge rather than the liner. Remember that your new suspension is still quite soft , not like my old yellows and H&Rs... so there's more travel, therefore more chance to rub

Re: 32ET offsets , will they work???

hmm well the wheel is 19x8.5 all around with 32ET, and i was going with 235/35/19"s, but do you think 18's are better, i cant really tell in the pictures, but do they look big on your car in person Gigi?

what wheel are you talking about that you are looking at?

No my wheels don't look big, but they look about as big as my old 19" RSGTs that had a lip

    Frank,

I could be wrong but your stock wheels are 32 offset. I have the same set and they are .32 Mine are 18 X 8. just to give you an idea... It's hard to figure out if your's are 17's or 18's thats why I like 19's because they definitelly don't look stock. So 32 means that they will be sitting closer to the fender lip. I think that your car will look great with 19's

Those are the wheels I have on my car.

18" BBS RC (model 306). They are 18x8.5 ET32. I have lots of room on my car for lowering:
