upon replacing the bulb in the passenger side housing ( correct bulb i might add ) which is why im puzzled as to what went wrong.. or just a fluke coincidence but an electrician at work came out with the multimeter and told me which wires shorted however i cant find a break in the insulation, burn marks, or discoloration on anything. was wondering if anyone had suggestions or link to a schematic seeing as how there really isnt a good electrical shop nearby only other alternative is dealer... any help would be greatly appreciated.

if there's a short in the wire, you need to trace those all the way back to the switch. no schematic will help you if you already know which wires are shorted.
