    Fair price for a 2003 A4

My lease is almost up on my 2006 Passat so I've been on the hunt for a pre-owned A4. My dad happens to work for the local Porsche/Audi/Volkswagen dealer and one day while visiting, I found this: http://www.cherryhillaudi.com/preown...OKEN=90971986#

    Some of the basics:
1.8T, manual, quattro, red w/ unpainted lowers, beige leather, 15" alloys, yada, yada, yada.

They have it listed for $19K and change but they say they'll give me my dad's employee discount. What should I expect to pay? If I'm not mistaken, it traded in for $14K and they did approximately $2k worth of repairs and bodywork.

    ...and a quick pic:

that b7 beats the hell out of an 03 a4... I sure hope youre not going away from that. Also, just look around on autotrader, you shouldnt pay very much for it because theyre a dime a dozen

umm.... my 03 with some options on it (versus that one which doesn't look to have ANY..) had 21k on it (keep in mind this was a year ago, prices have changed since) and i walked with it for 20 even. that's tax, title, tags, doc, gap coverage - everything included.

don't pay a penny over 12 for that car. also, keep the b7

hi i will sell you my 2002 audi tiptronic for fair value kbb trade in; it comes with clearbra; chip injectors; tiptronic; tips; rear spoiler; s4 grill; Extra peeling; 104K miles. and a slight radiator leak. I think its worth about 7-8K

I just bought (3 weeks ago) a 2005 A4 (Auto Tip., FWD, Brilliant red WITH painted lowers, 17" 5-spoke wheels, and 21,000 miles) for $15,995. And no, this car has not been in a wreck. Trust me, you can find way better deals. I looked through Yahoo! Motors. Good luck!

that car is probably worth more to you than selling it. Your car HAS to be worth more than 7-8k doesn't it?

Agreed. 19K is WAAAAY too much for that car, even with 32K miles on it. Don't do it!

    Re: Fair price for a 2003 A4

We just got back from the dealership with the B6. I'm pretty happy with the deal we got. As for options, it's certainly not loaded but has plenty enough for me: moonroof, leather, heated seats, trip computer (my B7 doesn't have it so it's a big plus for me since my Passat had it), and of course quattro. Plus, it's VERY clean with little signs of interior wear and a near flawless exterior (as far as I can tell).

I shopped other dealers and found similar cars for the same price with 10K+ miles, FWD, and no warranty while mine's CPO so I guess their original asking price was sorta fair. We ended up paying what it traded in for.

The B7's not going anywhere. We just needed another car for when it gets too cold to ride my bike.

    Thanks for the input fellas.

For a little more then 19 and some change you can probly find a B7, with better options.

I paid 11k for my 2004 with 50k miles. It is non-sport and very stock, much like that red one. A4s are cheap these days.
