I've been browsing all the forums since my first audi b5 1.8t in 2004 and finally registered. My b6 a4 i traded in had all these mods:
1)Sachs 300 Ft lbs. heavy duty clutch
2)Upgraded Snub mount and motormounts
3)KN filter
4)AWE Exhaust
5)Tyrol intercooler
6)K04 FX giac turbo upgrade with injectors,etc.
7)Very stringent maintainance / oil change / fluids routine
8)Always ran 94+ octane
Maybe around 250 HP at crank and 270 Crank Tq in a 3300 lb car
Result was this fuckin car hauled ass ! the only problem was shit
kept breaking, and after getting stuck 3 times i had enough.
My new s4 feels not much faster to my dissapointment, but im thinking its the ecu limiting the v8 until its fully broken in. I currently have 670 miles on it, and she feels like shes pulling better and better... am I crazy to think this or is it just the break in period?
