btw, if money is tight, you can easily get away with just getting some exhaust tips for now.....you can get a 3.5in or 4in set for about $100 i think....id go with 4in if i were you....thats what i have if you want to get a look some time!

tails are going to go... im kinda tired of this look, im going to get other l.e.d. tails and smoke them out 50% from top to bottom.... not gonna be as dark, but at least i wont be scared that someone will rear-end me when making a left turn from 1 lane road, when having to stop and wait.... cause now u cant see sh*t even at night... there's like 8 layers of tint-spray hah....

and yes, more, better pics are coming.. thanks for positive replies!

^^did u try the rubbing compoud i told u about which i got from someone else on here? take some medium rubbing compound and start polishing the areas u tinted it'll start getting lighter and once u've reached the desired lightness than stop and it'll look clean and shiny like u cleared it!

Re: Deval rear put on, quarter panel fixed, car is out and runnin'!

I really like that bumper, most of the aftermarket rear bumpers for the A4 I hate, and the ones I don't I hear fit like crap, so a few questions...

You said the fitment is ok? Alot of aftermarket ones I have seen don't line up correctly where the bumper mets the fender, is that the case with this bumper too? Or are there other issues?

Is this a one peace bumper or is it just the lower part, meant to work with the stock upper part of the bumper?

Could you get anymore pictures of it? From the side and maybe some close up's of the CF Diffuser?

I really like how it looks, it keeps the stock lines yet makes the rear look wider and just plain better. The reason I am so interested in this is because my A4 was recently rear ended and I may be looking into an aftermarket rear, and besides the S4, none of them have caught my eye except this one. It has a similar style to the S4, yet is a bit cheaper and I like the idea of the CF diffuser, but if it fits poorly then I will prob pass.

Thanks for any info you can provide and nice car! I agree with your decision to ditch the tails though. I think the rear looks a bit too blacked out with the wheels and all, if you get new ones and tint them no so dark I think it will look much better, and yeah so would exhaust, or at least some bigger tips!

Re: Deval rear put on, quarter panel fixed, car is out and runnin'!

Smitty, I was in the same situation.. right after winter this lady on CTS-V rear-ended me on the left side, making a dent in the corner of the bumper (upper part) and bent about an inch of my left quarter panel...

so i couldnt just get a regular aftermarket bumper because its only a lower apron that is "glued" on ur stock top piece... I looked for 1 piece bumpers and could only find S4 bumper and Deval bumpers... eurogearusa.com carries 2, one with cf difuser, the other one without.. i believe its a 100$ difference..

About the bumper... The best thing about it is that its about 2 inches lower than the stock one, makes the rear look great... and the CF difuser looks really well, its not sticking out like S4's difuser, i hate that... Couple issues are that the bumper isnt flexible... u know how those guys on ebay show clips how they jump on their products and they dont break - well this one is pretty damn hard.. if u do get rearended ure screwed.. it wont just dent in and pop out under a heat lamp..... And fitment-wise - i had to even out the edges where they meet the quarter panel, they were a bit wavy.. and i had to build up a little bumper at couple places...

all im saying is (at least mine) wasnt ready to just be thrown on the car... but it only took me about 2 hours of work with it.. so very minor fitment issues.., i would recommend this bumper to everyone..

more pics in a week or so
