    Rising coilovers? wtf?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So just had my Stasis SS coilovers installed and the back looks great - the goal was to get it to 25.5" all around. While adjusting the last corner (front left) to get it to 25.5", the front RIGHT rose by .5" to 26"

So for now, I'm at 25.5" in the back and 26" in the front... but the front WAS at 25.5" - it just...rose...? Any chance it'll settle a little bit a drop?

Get your car corner balanced if you want to fully acheive the performance aspect of coils. You will have to adjust each one a few times until you get the wheel gap you are looking for. While adjusting them make sure it's on a level surface.

Do you have to take them off the car to adjust the height?

Regardless of your issue, let it settle before making more adjustments. Take some corners and "break it in" an little. Get it aligned after about 500 miles. The two times I had my suspension apart and reinstalled my alignment was off (still drove straight though which will be misleading).
