Dolphin Avant w/ Bilsteins and AWE *PICS*

Avant was finally dropped on Bilstein PSS9's and opened up with an AWE catback exhaust.
Parts were purchased from and installed by Milla Racing just outside of Philly. They picked it up and dropped it off at midnight four days later, and the work looks great. He also did an oil change, flushed some motul fluid through the brakes, and did a tech inspection to get me ready for my track day next weekend. I highly recommend Jonathan for good prices on parts that are hard to beat and fair install rates.

I had an exact custom replica molded from scratch in a clear high temp plastic. No just kidding...I didn't use any caps.

hows the ridee quality?

The handling is fantastic. They're on mid-aggressive firmness settings, but still very comfortable. I don't really notice that bounciness that some owners complain about. I get some minor rubbing at full lock in a parking lot, but besides that all is good.

Big improvement over Sports Suspension and I can't even begin to imagine the leap it would be from standard suspension.

Ride quality has not diminished significantly from sport sus. That said, I'm someone who feels comfortable driving a Factory Five Cobra replica. I'm set on the medium stiffness setting and definitely could bear something harder. It transfers road conditions a bit more of course, but I'll take that for the amazing feel the car has on winding roads out on a spirited drive.

Cannot comment on highway driving just yet. I'm going up to NH next week and will have plenty of highway reactions to share afterwards.

I was also going to ask how you like the PSS9s.. Ride quality sounds good. Ok, Factory 5 cobra.. what other cars have you driven/lived with that you could compare it to? I am planning on PSS9s and Hotchkis RS4 H-Sports soon.. Hoping to daily drive with the damping set on 4 or 5. Plenty comfy?
