    Clearcoat lifted and metal exposing

Hey everyone. I don't really know where to go with this question but I have a Nogaro(dark blue, I think its nogaro) B5 S4 and the clear has lifted, seems like sun damage. What would you guys do? I don't have the cash to shell out for a full body paint job. The clear that's damaged runs along almost the entire body piece above the passenger doors and down above the gas cap cover.

Re: Clearcoat lifted and metal exposing

Looks like this post got overlooked...

Please elaborate when you describe it's 'lifted'. Is the paint pealing off?

Please take pictures and post if possible. It seems very unlikely that the paint has actually pulled off unless this is a Maaco or Earl Sheib paint job. Those jobs tend to have pealing paint because they don't sand the old paint first which creates poor adhesion.

    Thanks,
    Mike
