My new 17.5mm spacers and painted headlights AGAIN!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
i'm done with the lights. I've painted them 4 times now and now im finally happy, i did them metallic silver/black. It looks stock again actually but the black and the little lenses. Also..just got my 17.5mm spacers for the stock wheels, i figure i'd make the stance look better since im not getting rims for a while...and damn glad i got the 17's and not 15's, the 15's wouldnt of been enough to bring it flush with the fender-well
now just waiting on my Votex chin spoilers that are already dolphin grey!
*pictures of headlights..car has no spacers*
tell me what yaq think fellas..

    NOW THE SPACERS!

    nice and flush

heres with the gayy primer headlights and no spacers for comparison..(sorry if youre gay and got offended)

now a drop, tint, new grille, and i'll like my ride more

thanks man! doesnt take balls man, its the oven that scares ppl, go to wal-mart and buy a $10 heat gun, hold the gun on the seams where the glue is for a few seconds, pry open, paint what you want, re-heat glue, and close...couldnt be easier..DO IT!

does it matter what they are?
    I mean halogenic or xenon
    i'm running the halogenic ones
since he's in the body shop now,it would be an excellent moment to try it out :-)

halogens are the same, just heat the glue and pry open, careful when opening the glue is like cheese and strings, run a knife thorough the glue as you open

yeah, i was going to paint the grille but unlike the headlights, the paint is exposed and would probly fade or chip

By the look of all his pics and where he's at, I doubt it gets anywhere near as humid as it does here in SoFL!

Nah, that's just a myth running around that people are superstitious about. I think Bryson needs to stalk the forum more, and every time someone says opening headlights too many times will result in condensation, yell "MOTHER****** I opened mine 9 times so far and they seal just fine!"

Relative humidity and mixing ratio are different things. If he didn't seal them properly, water vapor would condensate onto the lenses.
