The wheels looks very nice but your price is just too high and there are many selections if I can pay this price range. Will consider if the price furthr drop..

...lol...your right, but I'm local if you ever decide to let the go around that price range.........I know it suck that no is buying them at the price, but that's the way the modding game is...I paid $5k for my Iforged aero wheels and I'll be lucky to get half of what I paid for them when I sell them.

Bump from a fellow C20 owner. I guess most of you dont know what your buying with these wheels ... Find another 19" 3pc wheel that weighs 20lbs for 4k new or used, not going to happen! These wheels are $ for a reason, not just because they are HRE's ... If you think 4k is too much, you're looking at this thread with wishful thinking. Maybe you should drop the 6-7k we paid new

Thanks for the support, its a bitch selling these things. They are worth it and I dont know if people realize it. 4k is alot of money but that is the name of the game, you want to be a baller you got to pay for it.

    Re: HRE C20's *Price Drop*

^^^^^^^^Okay, I've bit my tongue long enough, but come on now, let's be honest. My understanding is you bought these for $4k shipped (or at the most $4150 shipped) over a year ago. I can appreciate A4ringed's hesitation in selling at $4k after buying them at retail, but you apparently were trying to make $1k profit on wheels you bought over a year ago, and simulatenously carry on as though you're taking a hit on these wheels. Yeah, a true baller. Baller = buying wheels at a discounted price and acting as though you bought them for more.

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...hlight=hre+c20

Just to clear something up, these wheels are real nice and high end (provided they are in the condition you described). Are they worth more than $2k? Clearly. Are the worth $4k? Perhaps to some buyer, although the fact they've been for sale this long is somewhat telling. I hope you get as much as you can for these wheels, but again, complaining about others who aren't willing to pay what you paid over a year ago (when they were presumably in better condition too) and acting as though you are taking a hit I think is wrong, which is why I posted.

    O snap!

No offense of course. I do hope someone grabs these when the price comes down to earth, because they are beautiful.

I am not trying to make a profit on these wheels, not possible due to the fact that our posts are very easy to find. Not trying to act like a baller at all just trying to sell these wheels for the best possible price that I can get. Which is why I posted the price originally because knowing how people are, they are going to haggle and I know it and understand it. I am not complaining, just surprised ? These rims are sharp as hell and I thought they would sell much quicker. Is it wrong to ask for a price and try to miminize my total loss?

There is no doubt that these wheels are worth 4k, which is 60% of the original retail price and is very reasonable to me. I agree with you on the fact that the OP was trying to make a profit on them only if he had bought these wheels for 4k and then tried to sell them for 5k, but hey it's his wheels. He deserves all the right in the world to name his price.

To OP: GL with the sale! a nice set of baller wheels.

There's nothing wrong from with trying to sell for as much as you can or minimizing your total loss. Heck, the buy cheap and sell high thing is how things are done anyway. But again, seriously? You ask for $5k and you're now saying you're not trying to make a profit? I looked through my PM's from when I contacted you about BBK clearance and you confirmed paying $4k since I remembered these wheels.

I'm not trying to muck up your thread, and in fact, in my post I acknowledged these are nice wheels and I hope you can get as much you can. I also stated why I posted. If my interpretation of what you were expressing and that there was some mischaracterization is incorrect (i.e., that you're taking a hit and the baller thing), then my apologies. Again, good luck and honestly I wish you were on the West Coast so I could confirm BBK fitment.

I believe the person he bought the rims from had Alcon BBK on his car so they should fit a BBK.

Nothing to apolgize for, its all good. I will find out if they will clear your bbk, I am pretty sure they will because the person I bought them from had a bbk. I will post the serial number so that I can make sure of it. Thanks a bunch and I hope someone buys these rims so they can enjoy as I did.

My fronts are 19x8.5 et39 1" lip and will clear any brakes you want to stuff behind them. I believe from the other thread your wheels specs were very close, except for the lip was 1.5" or something of that sort.

Heres my C20's with Alcon 355's, they have about 1.5" of clearance between the caliper and back of the spokes

^^^^The calipers on my 355 kit are huge and I understand them to be wider than the Alcons...your set up is gorgeous btw. So, unless I saw the wheels fit firsthand, I'm too risk-averse to go for it. Anyway, I have my eyes on something else now...

Understandable when spending this much $ on wheels, just an FYI, Ive had my wheels on a B7 RS4 and also an RS6 (the V8 TT one) and the front wheels cleared both of those brake setups with room to spare as well.
