Ok, so I think I am about to be an owner of an 01.5 Nogaro S4. The only thing that worries me is it has 120k miles on it. However the guy has a stack of papers of work that had been done at an Audi dealer between him and the other owners. They had the turbos replaced around 80k under warranty and the timing belt/ water pumps done around 90K. The car is immaculate inside and out, its lowered with Bilstein shocks and H&R springs, so the ride is still excellent. It's never been wrecked and very well maintained. It also has GIAC-X installed. I drove it and the turbos sound normal and it rides great, very fast. What I am asking is if there is anything else I should keep in mind or look for before buying this car? Thanks in advance.

if it drives great then there are no boost leaks which is good. I would try to look at as many of the vacuum/boost pipes as possible (there are a lot). They can tear or dry rot just look at the condition of them. Also check the clutch for slip and obviously there is nothing you can really do but be ready for things like window regulators to go (but that happens at any mileage) and also other electrical like heated seats, onboard computer screen. The thing is I had a a4 and I read about so many things going wrong with different things on peoples cars and luckly maybe one or two of those things went wrong with my car.

Be careful of the GIAC. If you pick it up try and get down pipes for the car, it takes away back pressure on the turbos and increases their life.

120k is a lot of miles, unless its in great shape for a great price, I'd keep lookin. My 01.5 has 59,000 miles...

Try to hook up with someone who can scan the car with a VAG-COM. I could probably help if you and the car are in the baltimore area. My fee would be 1/2 hour on your GSXR

It has "piggies" and a 3 inch cat back. Car purrs like a kitten. The thing is immaculate though, and has lots of service papers.

Thanks for all the input guys, and I would like to get VAG hooked up to it.
