More pics: black titanium dropped on Vogtland coils, Abt exhaust & custom front plate

The pics on my other post about AutoX don't show the car so well so I ran outside and snapped a few more pics showing a few goodies that I got pic requests for.

The car is lowered with Vogts at 25.5"F and 25.25"R, I put on an Abt axleback exhaust that sounds sweet and I plan to convert into a catback with custom high-flow resonators and larger piping. I also got a custom front plate (it's actually a sticker), painted the side reflectors and debadged the rear. Enjoy...

Just a tip, polish your exhaust tips often. I didn't polish mine for awhile and now they are impossible to get back to the shine you have on yours.

I'm pretty anal when it comes to keeping the car clean. I can assure you those tips will stay shinny for a very long time.

BTW, I saw pics of your Avant on the Canada forum...absolutely stunning. Love the Abt package!

I bought it from a guy who used to be a distributor and was clearing old inventory. I'm sure there's got to be other dealers out there...just have to look. They don't seem to be very common on this side of the pond though and they're $$$.

Meh, not such a fan of those tips. I'd go with something a little less chrome. Those Abt's just protrude too much, look kinda cheap, and don't fit the looks of the car, in my eyes, although to each, his own.

Aside for that and the sticker license plate, car looks very nice.

Firstly, I bought it because I wanted the best sound and performance, quad-tip or the "look" of the tips was secondary (though a bonus) to me. That said, I don't entirely disagree with your comments. I bought the system sight unseen. Never found a pic of it installed prior to purchase...only heard sound clips. The tips are part of the muffler so they can't be adjusted and we set the muffler as far back as possible. I agree...inset a bit more would be ideal but that's just were they sit. And they're not chrome, they're polished alu and of very high quality. The whole system is far better quality than any other system I've seen on an A4 (it's German and it aint cheap!) so either your eyesight is failing you or the pictures are not doing it justice but in person, quality is very tactile. I also agree that the alu doesn't suit the titanium package but I'm getting a few items sprayed to match the wheels including the tips...patience young grasshopper, I've only had the car six weeks!

Wheels are coming. Performance mods first. I'm buying a set of light-weight BBS for AutoX and track, then I'm planning on getting a set of 19" VMR RS4 reps in gunmetal gray for street. The titanium wheels will be my winters.
