Help with install of my Forge 004

I'm going from a tt225 DV to this non recirculating BOV

I've googled all over. I no a4mods has a write up, but this BOV does not recirculate.


What hose/pipe does this billet plug go in?

Easy bottom goes into the inter cooler piping/hose. The plug goes into in the airfliter side. Or you take the hose of off the tip and plug it there.

Its very simple.... plug up the existing DV hole.

You need to get access from underneeth and look how your dv is connected. You wont be able to get to it from the top.

do u have a delay inbetween shifts? my hks there is a little delay inbetween shifts cuz the air isnt venting bak into the turbo to keep turbo spooled inbetween shifts

i would be curious to know about the delay as well. i would like a little more noise but not a whole lot, i was thinking about a splitter valve

I don't notice any delay b/t my tt225 DV and this BOV.

i have this value too, and sometimes its gets annoying with the lag if you slightly left off gas then press it again, the car just sortta studders. Just dont lift off gas to softly and your good.

this is all good for motors that make the power with n/a before they were boosted.
dumping air that has already been accounted for with your a/f ratios is not good. period. you are causing a rich combustion cycle. again- Fail audi/vw engineers dont use recirculating valves for no reason.

my hybrid is loud enough i couldnt imagine a bov with intake. Yes rhino ramps and then get under car and hook old up to new.

It's your A4, but I don't understand why advertising the turbo via the dump valve noise is more important than the correct operation of your engine. The measured intake air that is dumped results in fuel mixure control errors and lost performance.
