Is it me, or is the B5 S4 engine visually boring? I suspect the short answer is that Audi engineers weren't too concerned with engine aesthetics.
I love my S4 - but to be honest, every other sportscar I've ever owned offered more to look at when you raise the hood. Removing the shrouds only serves to make it look more "industrial". Even my Yamaha powered Ford SHO had more to offer visually. What's the current wisdom for improving the looks of the 2.7 TT?
