just got a CPO '06 non-sline. parents helped me out with purchase so sline seemed unnecessary, however, i love the looks of it. What are a few easy/classy exterior mods i can do to get rid of that stock nonsline look. i especially want to change the grill and rear end.

although s-line looks better, the sport suspension ride is too harsh. how about lowering the car and change the less agressive front grill in addition to a filler plate and chip it.

    Re: Opinions...

dude, you have to get the votex front chin spoilers. I know that if I didn't have an s-line and wasn't loaded (which then, I would have gotten an s-line anyway), votex is the way to go!

    Re: Opinions...

Lower it first and foremost. Get a lip and rear valence plus a trunk spoiler. That should be a good start.

+1 on lowering. benefits= better handling + more safety at higher speeds + better looks = lots of win

you have to get coils though if you dont want ride quality to deteriorate

This lip spoiler looks great! Do you know how hard it is to install on B7? Can I do it myself?

I'm gonna go ahead and second this, but I have to say, if you don't do the rest of it (at least side skirts), it doesn't flow right at all.

    Re: Opinions...

I disagree with the cupra lip and the votex spoilers being first.

    1. Lower
    2. Rims
    3. Filler plate

These things first will immediately change the look of the car. You may even rethink adding anything to the front because it makes the non s-line look so damn good.

Then I would consider painting the front grill ( a service which i can supply ) to whatever you wish. I did a gloss black trim with satin black center (to match the satin black filler plate)

It's sexier than ever with those 4 simple things done.

Here is an idea of how it can transform with just those 4 things.

    Modding on a budget:

    1. tint your windows for about $200
    2. buy a filler plate to ditch your ugly front license plate
    3. buy a can of translucent black spray tint to tint your ugly bumper reflectors black
    4. don't buy a new grill, your oem one is fine. just replace the filler
    5. if you want that cupra front lip, it's only $70 here http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3829256
    6. lower on just sport springs (about 1.5" drop) for $250 +install price
    7. search classifieds for nice used wheels/tires

You can pull all that off for under $2,000 tops, and then you'll be aesthetically set.
    Ignorance is bliss.
