It took me 2 days to get all the programs. i bought the GPS receiver for 60 dollars from China. It is the little white piece on top of it. The bay area map took me like whole day to download. it has pretty much every feathers availble from the TomTom ones, voice control ,etc. It even says " speed warning" when i run passed 65 mph, scared the hell out of me. ahahh Comments please guys!

    dude sick idea.

You have to help me out with the basics of changing the firmware and stuff..I have had my psp for a while and have literally played with it like 10 times, so this would be an awesome addition to the audi. I have decent comp knowledge but cant figure out how to put the files together....I figure u could save me atleast 2 days of research!

    Thx,

    Steve

6 hours isnt bad. my garmin nuvi 660 gives me 2hrs battery life. i pretty much leave it plugged in.

this woud be amazing as a standalone, especially if it lasts 6 hrs. u can definitely last all day.

I like it (using PSP for navi), but think where you mounted it is a bit obtrusive. Don't you like to be able to see out the middle of the windshield? I think you should try to mount it to the dash.

My first reation was "Dude, WTF?", then I realized it's probably the best use for the PSP ever.

    Thats a cool idea.

I'm still waiting for more info to come out on hacking my Magellan GPS system. It works, but the file manager is lacking a bit, and makes it not really worth it yet.
