hey guys sorry if my first post doesn't have pics, but here's the deal...
my mechanic is charging me $1,000 for a timing belt job, rear coolant flange, two motor mounts, and fix a huge vac leak (brake booster) with all parts included... what do you guys think???

btw the motor mounts will be some after market non filled ones...

Sounds good, motor mounts , coolant flange, and huge vac leak seems reasonable. Considering that most jobs cost around $700 like gotboost stated.

that sounds like a fucking deal to me.... parts will account for a good chunk of that price, so he's barely charging you anything at all in labor.

1,500 TB job
400 Rear Coolant Flange
100 + parts for boost leak

Glad to say I paid them roughly $0.00...DIY both TB and CF, and boost leak got so bad I could actually hear it while the car was running and replaced the hose my self....suck on that dealership.

i am located in san diego... its a shop called B&M motors.. or just b&m.. its by the old
GROUP 5 location here in SD. thanks for the input guys... I'm getting the car back tomorrow (hopefully)... BTW the dealership gave me a quote of $3265...! F that so i walked out with a fresh cUp of coffee from the loungE!!

$700 sounds like a great deal as long as it's good work...

make sure you check the car over, but i hope it's all good
