just got s4. wut to do with 1500 in mods

this will be my 3rd audi. ive had two 2.8 b5's and just got a 2000 silver s4 trip tronic. it is stock, and ihave under 1500 to spend in mods. wut would give me the best bang for my buck

I got GIAC and a Twin 1 for 1260. Then you could just do piggies for free and you would be a stg2+

2nd on the service. Do that before you start modding the car, upgrade DV's, pressure test, inspect and make sure the car is boost worthy, and then chip it..Best bang for the buck, even though it's quite a few bucks..

Definitely service esp if you're around 100k. If it already had svc, SS Autochrome fullexh and chip wouldnt be a bad idea.

They are AWE copies (which go for $2k or more for full exh. and dp's. If you look at the top of the forum page for B5 S4, you'll find tons of info on them. They are a little loud, but apparently you can add cats if you want to quiet them down. Can't beat them for $450 shipped of you want bang for the buck.

First thing is wut is spelled what. But maybe you were doing that on purpose.

Like everyone is saying I would make sure and get thing thing running tip top - check for codes, no boost leaks, boost gauge is a must, then go chip, and at least piggies so she breaths easy.

But if gas prices keep going the way they are, save the $ for Gas you'll need it.

No f-hose on tips, but upgrading the TBB is a must. I'd still save the money for maintenance before getting mod happy..

boost leak test get it compression test and change your dv's and throttle body boot then chip but timing belt full service if you dont have the history or record that its been changed.

x2 Service defiantly needs to be done first and foremost..

I would cast my vote for some coils to lower that pig and make the S a little more edgy dropped.

I agree with them too, Service is very important, then performance mods. No point in doing performance mods if the car is not running correctly. If everything is running fine, then chip it.

Sit on it for a while so that you can see what you have on your hands. If the car proves to be problematic, you won't need to ask what to spend it on. You'll find out soon enough if your amazing deal on the car was too good to be true. . .good luck mang!
