    I’ve to say this is the best car I’ve ever driven. I’ve owned a corvette Z06, BMW M5 E60, BMW 750IL E65 all were good cars but the Audi seems to really pamper the driver a lot more. All the designs and features are programmable to accommodate the driver’s preference. Even though it is not as fast as the M5 but the overall driving impression is better. The car is very civilized but when situation calls for it, the engine will explode upon demand, what a sleeper. The feature I like the most is the solar sunroof; it keeps the interior nice and cool even on a very hot day. One thing I just can’t understand is why Audi hasn’t heavily advertised the S models like the BMW M. It seems like more people knows of the M power than the S power.

    Obviously you havn't been to the burbs of St. Louis. I see S4's on a daily basis and most of the time its a woman driving it! I especially get angry following a shiny brand new B7 s4 driven by a woman going 5 under the limit!

    Congrats! And welcome to the Club. I've got an S6, same color as yours, but with a 20" rim package. I couldn't have summarized my experience with my S6 any better than you have above. It is an amazing car. I do not know what part of CA you are from, but on the 18th I'll be attending Audi Anonymous, a GTG for only Audis at the Irvine Spectrum at 3PM. Check out the thread under Southwest - Southern California section under Irvine Meet. It would be nice to see other S6s there. Again, congrats! Also, check out rs6.com where many owners of S6s, RS6s, etc gather as well. There is a thread regarding the meet on the 18th under the RS6/S6 thread.

    Great Answer. Isn't that why Audi is considered the "Intelligent" choice in premium luxury brands? Audi owners get it.

    haha... i've been seeing SL63 and CL65 doing 50mph on the freeway here in Los Angeles. Makes me wonder what kind of decision making process did they made when they purchase that car or what kind of technic did the salesperson used on them. It is so funny especially when you see them buying a E550 4matic in Los Angeles....haha! Selling Ice to Eskimo!

    Great! It would be cool to meet other S6 owners. Some of us are having lunch prior to the "Audi Anonymous" GTG. Here are some details. Start time: 1PM. I hope to see you there and your new S6. Don't forget to give him a name. That's Audi owner tradition.

    See Links Below:

    As for those who are.... here's the address to type into your GPS/google maps/mapquest/etc for Red Robins:

    83 Fortune Dr, Irvine, CA

    And just to make things a bit easier, I have the below two satellite images and a bit of explanation. As Red Robins is actually within the Spectrum mall itself, you can't simply pull up and park in front. Instead, I recommend that we all park in the lot immediately in front of Barnes and Noble, marked with red arrows in the picture below.

    4matic= wannabe Quattro

    Why bother with a Mercedes-Benz E550 4matic (I wish I was an Audi) when you can have the original - an A6 4.2!

    Wow thoes seats look amazing. I don't really like the new audi gauges, but still the S6 interior is awsome! Have fun with your S6

    Also I'm not saying your a female Sputnik, but often I see women driving the s4's. The S and RS cars are amazing... (b5 on the way, maybe)

    No i didn't see it that way.... i agreed with that marketing direction of BMW M power versus Audi S power......! It gave me a new point of view.

    Oh thk god....! Before i decide to buy this car i went on utube to do some research. I just loved the sound of this car. After i got the car it seems to be a bit quite and got me worry. So i start to research for muffler system, but i am afraid that it will sound too loud at all rpm range.....particularly during freeway speed. Your information put a rest on my worries. Thanks SLEEPERS6
