What do you guys think of them, don't refer to topgear, what do YOU think of them, personally I think there fucking badass, especially their exhaust note, however they do have serious drawbacks that I know of. For one to me the original is a hell of a lot cooler looking, and I know that the engine is basically just an F350 engine with a supercharger on it..and thats kinda lame, and that their handling could be a lot better, and it cant be a plus that ford discontinued them due to lack of sales. I thought about this car, about buying one I mean, but I got turned away by an F430 then by an honest investment, but I watched topgear about it, and he didnt really have anything bad to say about them, in fact Clarkson admitted to buying one.

So I guess the bottom line is what do you guys think of em' and have any of you driven one?

i dont like them.
they are fords. the only good car ford makes imo is the cobra.

watch the vid, its not really that much of a ford, thats why clarkson liked it so much, I has German wheels/brakes British body(which could be good or bad) Aston Martin steering rack, lotus designed chassis, and a bunch of other stuff, its more like a really really expensive pretty mutt.

A friend of mine has one. I haven't driven it but he has taken me for a ride and there isn't much to say other than HOLY CRAP!!! That car is stupid fast, it made me loose my breath. It literally looked like the cars on the freeway were coming AT us.

That red one in the pic was at Cars & Coffee here in Irvine the other week. For those that don't know this is a weekly GTG early saturday mornings in Orange County. Mainly supercars and rare classics.

A good friend had one. I have put ~200 miles on it. Very fun car. No snap oversteer, wicked fast, easy to drive slow, was his wifes Fav car out of his collection, but those damn doors suck ass. Thats my only complaint.
All in all, I drove that time and time again over his 430 Spider.

Freaking sick car. My friend has one and on a cold or rainy day that thing will go sideways right when you get on the gas, its insane.

theres a company that makes the keys a lot nicer looking (stock ones are just like F-150's) i think these cars are fvcken sweet...especially TT versions

I honestly hate most "American" cars, but you have to give this one props esp the old one, which is the one i fell in love with. If you were to get one of the old ones obviously it would be a kit, so you would build it yourself, but the new ones engines would be more reliable in a sense, especially with the newer EFI tech.

They sell kits pretty cheap, and one even use the Ford Zetec motor if you are not looking to spin wheels in every gear. but yeah if you have the chance to get a new one, get it, but make sure all the recalls are done to it first and it has the Heritage paint job with the number 11 painted on the side, because it would be stolen the next day...

On a side note, the top gear with Jeremy Clarksons GT40 going all whack was hilarious LOL
