my brake caliper decals...

Just wanted to share these with you guys. Obviously it's no BBK, but I added these brake caliper logos the other day along with painting my calipers black. I'm very happy with the outcome. Rich at www.xenonmods.com designed the decals for me. He was very helpful, I highly recommend talking to him about any vinyl decals you need.

Left them on the car. Used a brush on brake caliper paint which dries in a day. So I painted the calipers one day and then put the decals on and sprayed a clearcoat on the second day.

I'm sure if you brushed early in the morning you could do everything in one day. As for the spray clearcoat I wasn't too worried about getting clear on my rotor, the brake pad should easily get that off in one or two solid brakes.

They look good , have you got around to doing the rear?

haven't done the rears yet, but then again I just got home from a much needed vacation. Still undecided on if I'm just going to paint the rears or also add a smaller decal.

Looks great, exactly what I wanna do to mine. What products did you use?

I believe the caliper paint is duplicolor, just picked it up at my local pep boys. then used an engine enamal (500 degree rated) clear spray after putting the decals on. The decals them selves were from www.xenonmods.com and were $20.

Rich at xenonmods designed these just for me bacause I couldn't find these logos anywhere. They should be up on the site soon, but go ahead and email him and I'm sure you can get them soon. [email protected] Mine arrived in the mail 2 days after ordering.

How was your communication with them? I placed an order with them over two weeks ago, sent them two emails and haven't heard a word from them. I've now had no choice, but to open a claim with paypal. I'd think twice before ordering with them.

Not trying to thread hijack. But this guy is an ahole. the guy that sells the decals. I ordered some over 2 months ago. I have requested him to refund my money over and over again. He has not. He told me he has sent them out on several occasions. Then disappears. I would never do business with this Dbag. His name is Rich and he is one of the worst sellers i have ever had the displeasure of working with. I have been patient but no more. sorry to rant but this guy really has pissed me off.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with him. He had no problems making my decals. I noticed on his site it says that he and his wife operate that site outside of their normal jobs so maybe that could have been a part of it.

Hopefully you get everything straightened out because I had a good experience with him. Good luck.

Sorry but that guy is an asshole. I have been able to contact him. He slammed me on ebay and I have been waiting over 2 months. NO matter how polite i have been He says they are on there way. I wait and wait and recieve nothing other than some lip service.

Sorry but had to post this. Now he sent me an email on the 5th saying he recieve my address and sent them out. Now He blamed me the first time for an incorrect address but it wasn't and now he is doing it again. this is the email i recieve. what a Dbag.

If you would have given me an address that was correct you would have
