What's up with these IC's???

I'm sorry to have started another IC thread , but I wanted everyones attention on this one!

400 dollar for 2 side mount intercoolers, the brand is same as the Ebay FMIC that everyone uses...

Is there any way these things can suck? they look nice, but that doesn't mean they are, but the price is damn good and they look to be bigger then RS4's

Gavin has these, havn't been able to get any good logs though at the time...should try again for the sake of having some info on these. I'll have some free time in a few weeks and get a few IAT logs.

keeping the logs aside, does he feel like they are any good compared to previous setup?
I mean without logs you can also feel if the car pulls better and keeps going strong longer!

and did he fit them with stock hoses or you need something like apr hoses?

damn... they are about the same size as the rs4's.. an inch thicker tho. i wonder how hard the install is...

i want them! but a little afraid, need some more opinions on the quality, price is good and lookin at the pics they use the same hoses cause all endings look same as stock...

By just looking those (in my hands), they looked quite bad. The end tanks are very low, and the flow to the end row can't be good. The cast is also quite rough.

any downsides? , i just wonder how the sensors still connect, and if only one DV is enough.

both dv's connect if you look closely and theres no downsides to this system it is superior to other front mounts because 1. iit has vertical core 2. the boost turbulence is settled in the top airtank instead of the tb 3. no tbb 4. less piping

and thats why its superior

Well, the core he uses is obviously proven... I don't see how the 2 to 1 could produce any more gains. Especially since it doesn't flow the air in a straight, even matter.
