Well, I am piecing together stuff for my stage 3 upgrade, and I am at the point of inlets. I have read that you can just cut the stock inlets and use silicon couplers for the K04's. I would rather not spend $600 on RS4 inlets. So those that have done this, please post some input or pics if you can. Also, what is the small hose that connects to the inlets for?

Check out GenerationJDm's inlets. They are much cheaper than rs4.

Yeah, I saw those too. But I'm just wondering how many people have done this? Can it really limit flow that much since it is just on the intake side? I mean the only reason the RS4's are bigger is to mate up to the K04's. How much difference is there in ID of the stock inlets vs. RS4?

Either way, they are still way cheaper than RS4's and they're made out of aluminum. Don't have anything to lose.

Definately. If I don't mod the stockers, I will go that route most likely.
