I've looked at pictures and I can't tell if the lower center USP grill matches the regular A4 hood grill or is the hood grill a USP design. Are they different?

The hood grill on any B6 is interchangeable (a4, s4)

However, there is no difference between a USP hood grill and a non- USP hood grill. They are the same exact thing. Also, the lower center grill on both the USP and non-USP have the same design, which is similar to the hood grill, but the lower center grill on the USP is fairly larger. So those are not interchangeable.

On a side note, the B6 s-lines, unlike the B7s, do not show any sign of a prominent vertical slat (like an S4) as opposed to the horizontal slat in the grills that the B6 A4s all share.
