Has anyone replaced the stock Gauge cluster with a used gauge cluster from another B6

Hey guys im havin a hell of a time replacing the gauge cluster in my car. Both my LCD display and tachometer are no longer working for some reason in my cluster, so i sourced a new cluster (could only find on with higher mileage), however i do not know which codes to use to recode the immobilizer 3 system. It says it requires either a 4 digit pin, or a 7 digit pin. i have no idea where to get these though.. any help would be much appreciated

You have to take the car to an Audi Dealer. The 4 or 7 digit codes are no longer used or available. The adaptation process requires that the car be connected to the dealers factory diagnostic scan tool, that is connected to the internet, the automated immo adaptation software on the scan tool, connects to a secure server in Germany, and downloads the immo ID to be used with the replacement cluster and configures the cluster and the ECU accordingly. This new immo adaptation process is called "Geko".

Crap. Those codes are no longer available? I was hoping to use that process with another ECU I have. Taking it to the dealer will erase the performance software and make the ECU just another ECU.
