There are quite a few why don't you just call them and find out who's local to you Drive up or since your running a turbo they have a file for already just send the ECU up to them.

I want to do a few things: Go MAF less and run just of the MAP sensor, delete the code for the smog pump thing (I removed mine so now I have a code), and also a little launch control thing would be cool(kinda like the evo) I already have unitronics, they are great, very smooth (even though I have been having a lot of problems with my ECU but unitronics are working with me to try to fix it)

What constitutes Stage 1+ DBC?

I have Uni 1+, the Stg 1 is a 91 oct 1 Bar, and the Stg 1+ is 93 Oct @ 1 Bar. It's a little more agressive, and designed for vehicles with larger exhaust and a open filter or modded stock airbox.

a lot of weird things going on here is it all summed up:

1. fuel trims read +22.4% for part throttle, I do not have any vac/boost leaks (local shop confirmed)
2. low MAF readings. around 150-170g/s with VR6 MAF @ 20psi(unitronic says it should be well over 200g/s), this is with 2 different, new MAF sensors from the dealer. Wiring is good also confirmed by a local shop.
3. I pull a lot of timing (around 9-12 degrees) with any type of octane(up to 105)! it doesn't matter what boost level (i am running 14.2psi at the moment)

Other than that the car has run great

Unitronics, the local shop and I all believe the ECU is out of whack. I Hope to resolve the issue soon.

And unitronics does have great customer support, I am glad I went with them.

1. What size injectors are you using and @ what fuel pressure? Make sure they match your tune.
2. I have no idea, are you supposed to use the stock Maf element w/ the VR housing?
3. Do you have any, or have had any, CEL's for a knock sensor malfunction? You're running a FMIC correct?

This is why i kinda want to have unitronic give me a MAFless file. That would make things easy.

i'm having a problem with my tune/ECU...I keep pulling a constant CEL for P0601 internal check sum error. If the ECU turns out to be bad can the chip somehow be transfered from my old ECU to the new one i just purchased. Is there any way to tell if its the chip or the ECU thats bad?

Their is no way to tell if the ecu is bad or not (I have already asked) the only way to tell is if you find someone with the same tune and swap the ECU's. Which in my case is pretty hard to find here in socal. If you are getting that code I would say it is the ECU since Check sums are in the ECU. Try to see if the chip has come out of the socket on the board. The chip can be transfered to another ECU, you will just have to find someone that will do it(any shop that does chip soldering should be able to do it.)
