    Suspension upgrades: 1985 Coupe GT

My buddies 1985 Coupe GT is in desperate need of new springs and shocks. He's wanting to find a sport suspension for the thing, that will lower it a bit and increase handling.

Can you all point me somewhere? Performance shocks are fairly easy to find... but I'm having a hell of a time finding any springs.

A cup kit would be the best setup I think, but coilovers or simply performance springs/shocks would work too.

Are Audi 100 spring/shocks compatible? Anything easier to find compatible?

Also, do sway bar upgrades exist for these cars?

    Thanks!
Upgraded the motor a little, brakes a little more, and suspension a lot.

My '85 Coupe GT has Voghtland (not sure on spelling) springs. Ride height is way better than stock. I think it has the stock shocks though so I'm not sure about aftermarket for those.

Shocks are fairly easy to find... even tirerack has 3 different brands. Just the springs are what's killing me! I'll check the links. Thanks!

Re: Suspension upgrades: 1985 Coupe GT

The 2bennet adjustable springs looks perfect... but if he can get the Vogtland springs for less than half the price, he'll probably go that route.

A4wheelin, got any pictures of your Coupe???

    2bennett adjustable springs = $450

    Vogtland lowering springs = $225

Koni Adjustable Shocks = $530 for all 4
